We're going to be getting together at Wrangler's in Bartlett around 7pm. Karaoke is supposed to start at 7pm, so if anyone wants to be there earlier let me know. I was hoping to do it Saturday but it isn't karaoke that night. It's a family joint and the DJ is very customer oriented. The food is reasonable, lots of appetizers, and priced decent.

once again I had something to talk about and have forgotten.

I think it was something about the thunderstorms we're having today. I fucking LOVE them. I'm always so sad when they happen and I'm stuck inside at work. When I'm at home, I can go out and look out the windows whenever I want... it's beautiful.

Red Hots. I love them.
It's been a busy weekend. There's been karaoke, movies, dinners out, gardening and laundry.
It's been a lazy one too. I slept til 6:30pm yesterday. I did wake up much earlier than that but only managed to stay awake for about an hour. Long enough to use the bathroom and play FFTactics on the DS.
I opted to stay home this afternoon so I could do laundry. Paul's taken the girls out to see X-Men 3 at the cheap seats theater.
We're almost done with Deep Space Nine. :(

oh my goodness! I'm so happy. Everything above was typed up a few days ago and I had to log off. I left the page open but never got a chance to update. I'm pleased to see it was auto-saved to draft. Not that it's a life altering or inspiring post, but now I don't have to whine about how it was lost.

alliiya called the other day but I wasn't able to answer. I'm fairly lame about using phones so I haven't been up to calling back. If it was something urgent, I figured a message would have been left.

I thought I left my Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Cream at work and someone stole it. I've now noticed it's slightly hidden behind other stuff nearby here at home. I am VERY happy about that. I've become addicted to Bath & Body Works. Their Cherry Blossom shampoo/conditioner for color treated/damaged hair is amazing for my hair. I need a trim severely but given the state it was in, that stuff has made it so much smoother. We got it for sunny13 (who's going to be 18 very soon, no longer 13) but I've opted to share it with her ;)

I'm jonesing bad for that inheritance. I keep dreaming about a new place to live, a new car, a new phone device, a new computer.... DS's for all the wee monsters ethangrim and I have birthed out... well, had part in producing since he can't birth them out, a new orthopedic something mattress........ man. The car and place to live won't be brand spanking new but new to us.

ethangrim will have a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks, on the 18th. So far the plan is to hit Snakes On A Plane since it opens that night and then probably some karaoke at Jordan's in Bartlett. It's all ages and they rotate fairly evenly with singers. So...................

Friday August 18th, Birthday festivities out and about. Any suggestions and ideas for things to do are welcome. Just leave a comment if you're interested in hanging out. It won't be anything monstrously huge, at least it's not planned that way, but if a million people want to hang out, we won't say no :) If there's enough people I'd be more inclined to make more concrete and extensive plans. Just let me know if you're up for joining us.

Lately I've been reminded of people I know and haven't talked to or seen in a long time. It's random little things that remind me of that person. Sometimes it's something you wouldn't even have realized until it happens.

I was curious. What sorts of things remind you of me? I know what I would THINK others might think, good or bad or absolutely strange. If there isn't something, don't make it up. Or if you do at least admit to it. ;)

I was curious if anyone would be interested in buying my Gameboy SP.
It's silver with a nifty inner and outer colorful skin from DecalGirl called Static Discharge.
It's not quite a year and a half old.
There's some scuffing but it runs great and the screen is great.
I'd be willing to include a couple games if someone were interested in buying it.
If anyone is interested, leave a comment and I'll get together some specs and post more details this weekend.
The reason I'm selling it? We have 4 between us all now so it tends to not get used... and the extra cash would be nice.
